It really just doesn't have a name. But I figured I'd share the first image of what I hope to do a small 2d treatment too, and then finalize into a 3D short. Hope all is well where ever.

I also read some great words recently. I'm not a very political person to begin with, however I do have my own ideals and hopes for our country. I get so upset when I watch, and read about all the political bonanza that goes on sometimes that it was refreshing to find this.

Hey everyone. I have been slacking on the posts. Been busy with school and work, more tired than awake most of the time.
Found some free time to get a bunch of sketchbook work up here, critique is always welcome. I've been having a blast drawing at lunch when I'm on my break at work, and even on the bus. So many interesting people to throw in the book, and the bus is a great place to lay down tons of ideas. Don't mind the "Robots and Jellyfish" doesn't necessarily mean anything, just thought I'd share my random sketchbook cover:)

"The Greatest Thing Since Sliced Bread"

This has currently become my favorite piece of literature. I've read many books and was under the impression I had my favorites. I actually may still have favorites. This book however has knocked all of them off the shelf. Sure its definitely a different genre compared to some of my other reads but overall I've never been so enraptured by a story before. The characters are so rich in detail. It feels as if I could literally without a shadow of a doubt go look them up in the phone book and call them up.

"The Greatest Thing Since Sliced Bread" was written by Don Robertson. I haven't read any of his other work, but after this encounter I surely will. Morris Bird III is the most endearing and wonderful characters I've had the pleasure to read about. His adventure even at nine years old challenged even myself at twenty-one years old. It caused me to confront the idea of what being a man truly means. Responsibility is a strange concept these days and unfortunately can be misconstrued for the wrong things. I understand I'm still young and growing into the man I hope to be, the man I want to be; but how funny it was to find a true, honest, no garbage example of how to get there through a nine year old fictitious character.

Don Robertson was born the year 1929 and passed away in 1999. I am so grateful for his work and wisdom, and for approaching such a confusing yet fundamental question that many young men are confronted with, "When am I truly a Man?"

Well the book I'm working on is completely boarded, still have to wait on the author to give them the ok to start doing the finals. Wish I could post some of them, but can't yet. Till then here are some other sketches I've been doing, and one "ELLIOT AND THE ROLLIE POLLIES" that I hope to turn into a book. The Elephant Trunk

This was a piece I did for the class my mother helps in. The children were given the task of writing a story explaining how the Elephant got its trunk. Their wonderful imaginations came up with an elephant that was brought to a magic lake in a truck. The Elephant was then dipped into the enchanted waters and given its present day trunk!!!

My mother only gave me a days notice, so I wasn't able to invest to much time in it, so please forgive it being rushed and enjoy the wonderful story these kids came up with.

Well my Sister the one two years ahead of me, just got married today. It was wonderful, she married James Skidmore, she is now Claudine Skidmore. I'm extremely happy for her.

During the reception, I found my seat and picked up the small card that had my name written on it, however the back was vacant of any text. It was a vacant blank sheet. Something unavoidable happened, I drew on it. HaHa, I know very Dylan of me. Didn't finish it but it was a fun dootle. Enjoy
